New York, NY (November 6, 2015) – WeiserMazars LLP, a leading accounting, tax and advisory services firm, today announced that as of November 4, 2015, Barry Goodman has joined the firm as a Partner in the Financial Services Practice. Based in the New York office, he will enhance the group’s existing expertise in servicing broker dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds and closed-end mutual funds.

Barry has more than 22 years of experience in accounting, auditing and taxation. He was previously an Audit Partner and Practice Leader of a regional accounting firm’s Financial Services Practice. In this role, he helped clients structure and manage their middle and back offices. Barry has also worked for both national and regional accounting firms in addition to being a Controller for a global alternative investments platform focusing on leveraged loan investments.
Barry received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Science in Taxation from Baruch College.
