Baker Newman Noyes Hires Two, Promotes Eight
Firm Adds Personnel to Support Growth

Portland, Maine and Manchester, N.H. (March 13, 2014) – New England-based Baker Newman Noyes, one of the nation's top 200 accounting and consulting firms, recently shared news of promotions and new hires in its Portland and Manchester offices.

"We are pleased to announce the promotion of some of our most talented employees and to welcome new faces to the BNN ranks, including two new hires in our growing Manchester office," said Ellie Baker, managing principal.

- Jeff Mansir, CPA, CISA, of Augusta, Maine, was promoted to senior manager in the risk and business advisory practice in Portland. Mansir earned a bachelor's degree in business from Wake Forest University.
- Chris DeRosa, CPA, MST, of Medford, Massachusetts, was hired as a manager in the tax practice in Manchester. DeRosa earned a bachelor's degree in corporate finance and accounting and a master's of science in taxation from Bentley University. Prior to joining BNN, DeRosa spent more than five years at a Big Four firm and almost two years in private industry as a state and local and corporate tax manager.
- Griffin Hardy, CPA, MBA, of Oakfield, Maine, was promoted to manager in the tax practice in Portland. Hardy earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's of business administration from Husson University.
- Josh Lapierre, CPA, MBA, of Freeport, Maine, was promoted to manager in the tax practice in Portland. Lapierre earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and master's of business administration from Husson University.
- Rob Wright, of Naples, Maine, was promoted to office manager of the Portland office. Wright served as a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. He graduated from the Primary Leadership Development Course on the Commandant's List and attended the Total Army Instructor Training Course.
- Adam Aucoin, CPA, of Buxton, Maine, was promoted to senior in the tax practice. Aucoin earned a bachelor's of science in business administration in accounting, summa cum laude, and a master's of science in accounting from the University of Maine, Orono.
- Remy Vazquez, J.D., originally of Lake Worth, Florida, was promoted to senior in the tax practice in Portland. Vazquez earned a bachelor's degree in history from Rice University and a juris doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.
- Matt Dionne, originally of Skowhegan, Maine, was promoted to helpdesk analyst III in Portland. Dionne earned an associate of applied science degree in computer technology from Southern Maine Community College.
- Greg Knight, of Portland, Maine, was promoted to staff II in the healthcare management consulting practice in Portland. Knight earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maine, Orono.
- Morgan Hilow, of Strafford, New Hampshire was hired as a staff I in the audit practice in Manchester. Hilow earned a bachelor's degree in accounting with a psychology minor and a master's of science in accounting from the University of New Hampshire.
